The physio's hands are
on someone else's back.

A thirty-minute session cannot stop for the phone. So the first inquiry, "how much is manual therapy and will insurance pay", rings through to voicemail.

A call mid-session

While the physio's hands are on a patient,
this is how it goes.

When it is missed

A missed call
is written down nowhere.

A physio patient is not one visit. After the assessment comes a plan of ten or twenty sessions, and that patient brings the family. But the first inquiry arrives in the afternoon when the timetable is full and no hand is free. One missed first call is a plan, not a session.

What it will not do

The things a machine
must not say in this trade.

The four below are not settings you switch on and off. They are blocked from the start when the Physio & rehab answering is built. Anything that touches them is not answered — it goes to a person.

  • Never promises how many sessions."Ten and you will be fine" is a treatment plan, and there is none before an assessment. The physio sets the number.
  • Never prescribes an exercise or a stretch."What should I do at home" goes unanswered. The wrong exercise for the wrong back makes it worse.
  • Never says what insurance will pay.It says the clinic provides claim paperwork, and stops. Coverage is the insurer's decision under the policy.
  • Numbness in both legs or loss of bladder control ends the booking. Those are spinal red flags. The AI directs the caller to emergency care and connects the physio at once.
