Hospitals · outpatient · the main number

At nine in the morning
every line is busy.

Outpatient bookings, referral questions and "which day is Dr Kim in" all hit the main number at opening. A patient who hears the busy tone three times tries the hospital across town.

Not a customer case — an example of how the product answers once this trade’s clinic schedule and safety rules are loaded. Amounts are typical published ranges; what is actually quoted comes from the clinic schedule the director enters.

When it is missed

A missed call
is written down nowhere.

The main number's problem is not the night; it is the first hour. A third of the day's calls arrive between nine and ten, and the same admissions staff are serving the queue at the counter. A booking lost to a busy tone leaves no record, so the hospital never learns how many it lost. Most of them were one sentence: which slot is free.

What it will not do

The things a machine
must not say in this trade.

The four below are not settings you switch on and off. They are blocked from the start when the Hospitals & outpatient answering is built. Anything that touches them is not answered — it goes to a person.

  • Never reads a test result over the phone.A blood value or an imaging report is explained by a doctor after identity is verified. The AI only passes the request to the ward.
  • Never picks a department from symptoms. It books the department the patient names. If they do not know which, admissions decides; choosing one is a judgement too.
  • Never promises a bed, a surgery date or a final bill.It quotes the published self-pay list and stops. Beds and theatre dates belong to the department; what insurance covers is settled after the visit.
  • Chest pain or trouble breathing ends the booking. The AI reads the emergency instruction, tells the caller to call the emergency number or come to the ER, and connects the duty nurse.

these fields are already filled.

The Hospitals & outpatient CRM comes with Hospitals & outpatient fields. You do not bend a generic CRM's blanks to your trade over months — it is written in your trade's words from day one.
