You cannot answer a phone
on a mower.

From spring to fall the owner is in somebody else’s yard. A homeowner with weekend guests calls on Tuesday morning asking “can you mow this week?”

The call over the mower

While the mower is running,
this is how it goes.

Not a customer case — an example of how the product answers once this trade’s price list and safety rules are loaded. Amounts are typical published ranges; what is actually quoted comes from the price list the owner enters.

When it is missed

A missed call
is written down nowhere.

Landscaping inquiries are tied to weather and season. A call missed in April or May is that year’s maintenance contract, and one contract is eight to ten visits a season. But the call comes precisely while the mower is running, and when you see the missed call at lunch, that house has already booked another crew.

What it will not do

The things a machine
must not say in this trade.

The four below are not settings you switch on and off. They are blocked from the start when the Landscaping & lawn care answering is built. Anything that touches them is not answered — it goes to a person.

  • It never fixes a price on a yard nobody has seen.Acreage alone gets no trimming or landscaping figure. Slope, tree height and truck access all change it.
  • It never nails down a work date.Rain pushes everything. “Definitely done Saturday” is something the owner says after checking the forecast.
  • It never diagnoses a sick tree.Browning leaves or bugs get no disease name and no spray recommendation — just a note for the visit.
  • It never promises to take down a large tree. Some removals need a permit or are protected. It says “we’ll confirm,” never yes, on the phone.
