What it will not do
Not a setting you switch on and off. These are blocked when the Imaging & health-screening centers answering is built; anything that touches them goes to a person instead of being answered.
- It never reads a result.Whether the report is out and what it says is for a doctor to explain. The AI stops at “your referring doctor will take you through it”.
- It never says whether a scan is necessary.It books what is written on the referral. Suggesting a CT instead, or that the scan can be skipped, is a clinician’s judgement, not the desk’s.
- It reads preparation instructions only as written.Fasting, contrast and metal implants are explained in the sentences on the sheet and no further. A contrast reaction in the past, kidney disease or a possible pregnancy stops the booking and goes to a person.
- It never rules on coverage.Whether insurance pays depends on the referral and the plan. It quotes the self-pay price and leaves authorisation to the desk at check-in.
